Add internal and external stakeholders

Stakeholders within the Materiality Assessment fall under two main categories: internal, and external. Both the internal and external stakeholder categories contain groups which include:

  • Internal: Boards, Senior Management, Employees

  • External: Communities, Customers, Investors, Stakeholders.

⚠️Good to know: You can choose to use the groups which are relevant for your organisation, and further segment the groups further by adding sub-groups per the steps below.

Section 1: Internal Stakeholders

To add internal stakeholders, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Stakeholders below Overview.

  2. Click on Internal Stakeholders.

  3. Add the email addresses and click on Add Stakeholders.

  4. If you wish to add any further groups to any section, click the three lines dropdown menu next to the section and select Add Sub Group.

  5. Enter the Sub Group Name and click Save.

    ⚠️Good to know: If you are ready to send the assessment to the stakeholders, simply check the box next to "I want to send the assessment straight away". Select the assessment from the list provided and then click on Add Stakeholders.

  6. To add stakeholders in the Sub Group, expand the section and click the three lines next to their email address and then select Edit from the options.

  7. Select the Stakeholder Group and Stakeholder Sub Group and click Save.

Section 2: External Stakeholders

To add external stakeholders, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on External Stakeholders.

  2. Click three lines next to each section and select Add Stakeholders.

  3. Add the email addresses and click on Add Stakeholders.

    ⚠️Good to know: If you are ready to send the assessment to the stakeholders, simply check the box next to "I want to send the assessment straight away" and select the assessment from the list provided and then click on Add Stakeholders.

    ⚠️Good to know: The billing will commence when the first external stakeholder is invited to take the survey.

  4. If you wish to add any further groups to any section, click three lines next to the section and select Add Sub Group from the dropdown menu.

  5. Enter the Sub Group Name and click Save.

  6. To add the stakeholder in the Sub Group, expand the dropdown menu of each section and click the three lines next to their email address and then select Edit from the options.

  7. Select the Stakeholder Group and Stakeholder Sub Group and click Save.
