Configure multi-factor authentication (MFA) manually

Configure multi-factor authentication (MFA) manually

Don't have a smartphone with a working camera? No problem! You can still set up MFA vis SMS or configure MFA manually on an authenticator app by following these steps:

1. Download an authenticator application

2. Login to Drova profile

  • Log in with your email address and password as usual.

3. Enter the unique enrolment code

  • You'll see two authentication methods, select Google Authenticator or similar.

  • On the next screen, select Use a different method if you don’t have a smartphone with a camera.

  • You'll then see a unique enrolment code.

  • Open the authenticator app you just downloaded. Depending on the app, you might need to log in with your Google or Microsoft account. Alternatively, you might be able to use the app without logging in.

  • In the app, you'll likely see an option that says Add Account and then Enter Key Manually. Click on this option to continue and enter the unique enrolment code.

4. Confirm Setup

  • Once the authenticator app generates one-time password (OTP), which is a 6-digit code, enter this code into the MFA setup process on your account. This confirms that the app is correctly synced with your account.

  • Your authenticator app will start generating a 6-digit code that resets every 30 seconds.

5. Save the recovery code

  • Make sure to save the recovery code in a safe and secure place. Recovery code can be used in case you can't access your authenticator app or lose access to your authenticator app.

6. Enjoy enhanced security
